Abstract

This scientific article aims to identify, select and analyze the academic production on the word Educommunication, from 2002 to 2022, in the SciELO Brazil indexer database. The methodology used was based on the implementation of the ‘state of knowledge’, a methodological principle of scientific research production that follows criteria for selecting academic works that allow reducing research bias in the selection and definition of the corpus, combined with a qualitative approach in order to produce an overview for this debate. This type of research provided a greater reflection on the influence that this emerging educommunication field reflects on the improvement of the perception of new knowledge developed in the classroom. We thus conclude that the analyzed database collaborates with a broad dissemination of the scientific productions mapped and discussed in our country, revealing the contributions of this educommunication ecosystem, which is characterized as an emerging field, which in the interface between communication and education, grows every day. Finally, this type of knowledge production favors those interested in the proposed theme or any other research, the reading of excellent scientific productions on new areas of activity, systematically expanding the dissemination of academic productions on the field of Educommunication.
