Abstract

In comparative studies, it is observed that the articulation between different artistic modalities is feasible, thereby seeking to expand the perspective of reading and analyzing literary productions. Considering the high aesthetic quality of the compositions by the Alagoan musician Djavan, it is noted that they can be related to aspects regarding literary movements, such as Troubadourism, Romanticism, Realism, and Modernism. To this end, the dialogue is grounded in theoretical concepts concerning literary language and contextual data relative to the periods that organize Literary Historiography, extending it beyond the conventional through a dynamic that relates it to contemporary musical art.
